Balmar SG230 Battery Monitor SmartShunt, NMEA2000 Certified

You can add as many Balmar SG230 SmartShunts to your Balmar SG200/SG230 system as you like! The SmartShunt is NMEA2000 Certified, and includes a SmartLink communication cable to connect to your existing SG200 network.

Use a SmartShunt for each battery bank you want to monitor, such as:
  • Bow thruster
  • Stern thruster
  • House Bank #2
  • See COMPATIBILITY NOTES below
Specifications:
  • Peak Current: 600A Intermittent, 350A Continuous
  • Supply Voltage: 12-48V
For higher current loads, SmartShunt can be connected in parallel. See user manual.

COMPATIBILITY NOTES:
  • The SmartLink port (P1) on the SG2-0139 SmartShunt is only compatible with Balmar SmartLink connections.
  • The CAN port (P2) on the SG2-0130 SmartShunt is only compatible with CANbus (NMEA2000) connections.
  • The SG2-0130 SmartShunt CANNOT be used with the MC-618 regulator and the SG2-0300 Bluetooth gateway simultaneously.
  • If multiple battery banks are to be monitored:
    • Use only one SG2-0130 per installation.
    • Use SG2-0100 SmartShunt for monitoring additional battery banks.
