Balmar SG230 SmartShunt, NMEA2000 Compatible
Balmar SG230 Battery Monitor SmartShunt, NMEA2000 Certified
You can add as many Balmar SG230 SmartShunts to your Balmar SG200/SG230 system as you like! The SmartShunt is NMEA2000 Certified, and includes a SmartLink communication cable to connect to your existing SG200 network.
Use a SmartShunt for each battery bank you want to monitor, such as:
- Bow thruster
- Stern thruster
- House Bank #2

Specifications:
- Peak Current: 600A Intermittent, 350A Continuous
- Supply Voltage: 12-48V
For higher current loads, SmartShunt can be connected in parallel. See user manual.
COMPATIBILITY NOTES:
- The SmartLink port (P1) on the SG2-0139 SmartShunt is only compatible with Balmar SmartLink connections.
- The CAN port (P2) on the SG2-0130 SmartShunt is only compatible with CANbus (NMEA2000) connections.
- The SG2-0130 SmartShunt CANNOT be used with the MC-618 regulator and the SG2-0300 Bluetooth gateway simultaneously.
- If multiple battery banks are to be monitored:
- Use only one SG2-0130 per installation.
- Use SG2-0100 SmartShunt for monitoring additional battery banks.
