Failure to maintain positive pressure at the inlet of a high pressure plunger pump can cause severe damage to the plungers due to cavitation. This MARCH Pump LC-3CP-MD is ideal for air conditioning systems and RO desalinator systems with maximum 1.0 GPM feed pumps. We recommend installing this RO boost pump at least one foot below the waterline to avoid inlet cavitation. This pump is fully submersible, and the sealed motor is liquid-cooled by the raw water.
