Retrofit Master Controller for Village Marine

At long last, programmable automatic flushing is available for your Village Marine or Offshore Marine Labs watermaker. The watermaker can now be left unattended for extended periods without the need for preserving the membranes. You control how often, and how long, the fresh water flush cycle runs. Also, with Auto-Flush enabled, your desalinator will automatically flush after making water. System power and fresh water pressure are required for this to function.

The backlight of the Allen Engineering VMT Retrofit Master Controller remains off during standby mode. During normal operation, the backlight color is white. During fresh water flushing and when non-critical “caution” messages are displayed, the back-light color is amber. In the event of a serious fault, a “warning” message is displayed, and the back light color flashes red.

Our VMT Retrofit Controller will not allow a “run-dry” event. Even if just running your low-pressure booster pump, the VMT Retrofit Controller will protect your pump by shutting it down if pressure does not come up in a reasonable time, or if pressure is lost while running. The high-pressure pump will not start if feed pressure is inadequate, and will shut down immediately if feed pressure is lost.

The Allen Engineering VMT Retrofit Master Controller is so easy to install, almost anyone can do it. Two screwdrivers and a wrench are all that are needed. Just remove your old 20-0386 (Village Marine Tec), 20-1348 (Offshore Marine Labs) or 20-1399 (USCG versions) master controller, and mount our VMT Retrofit Master Controller. Plug it in, and you are ready to go! No drilling. No cutting. No wiring modifications.
